Outstanding Piece of Gear
I recently added this piece of gear to my ATS war belt / inner belt / harness setup and it integrated in very nicely. It is well constructed and works nicely with the ATS setup. I would highly recommend this pieces of kit.
The Modular Hydration Carrier is ATS Tactical Gear's MOLLE compatible carrier for reservoirs up to 103 ounces (3 liters). We used 500 denier (500D) DuPont Cordura nylon to make the carrier, so it weighs just eight ounces. This narrow footprint carrier is only seven inches wide, and seventeen inches long. It attaches to packs, harnesses or carriers via the patent pending, MOLLE compatible ATS L-Strap system.
To make weaving the attachment straps easier, we separated the attachment points into two shorter sections; four channels wide by four channels tall each. We asked our war fighter friends if they used the PALS webbing normally found on hydration pouches, and the answer was a resounding "no". Because of that feedback, ATS incorporated a daisy chain of elastic cord on the face of the carrier, to secure lightweight items of clothing and the like. The length of the cord is adjustable by an ITW/Nexus Toaster Cord Lock.
The ATS MHC is available in Multicam, Coyote Brown, Ranger Green, UCP (ACU), and black. Like all ATS gear, it's American made and covered by our lifetime warranty against manufacturer defects in materials and workmanship.
