I work law enforcement and I used this pouch and it’s contents to save the life of a stabbing victim. I’ve had this pouch for a long time and it’s extremely durable and fits everything you need in an IFAK.
The ATS Medical Pouch-Small is an advanced design that exceeds the current standard for individual first aid kits. When seconds count, standard trauma equipment can be difficult to access because most pouches stays attached to the vest or pack of the casualty. The most revolutionary feature of our Medical Pouch Small is that it can be instantly removed from its MOLLE compatible backing platform and then used independently as the situation dictates. This means that you don't have to roll the casualty around in the dirt or dump the contents of the pouch out to go to work on him. The difference could be life itself!
The pouch is arranged as a "clam-shell" zippered design with elastic webbing on the interior in order to organize the trauma supplies in a consistent fashion. There's also has an interior slot pocket for smaller items. The ATS Medical Pouch Small will fit everything in the issue IFAK and more.
The pouch features a red pull/carry handle to help designate the contents within as life saving equipment. The handle can be completely stowed between the pouch and the MOLLE backing panel when its not in use.
It's features are rounded out by a cord loop for tie-downs and a drainage grommet. It can be attached to any MOLLE compatible system using our patent-pending L-Strap attachment system. The pouch measures about 7 inches tall, 4½ inches wide and expands to about 5 inches deep, depending on how much is packed in it. It uses 3 channels and 6 rows of MOLLE space. The Medical Pouch Small weighs about 9 ounces empty, due to its 500 denier Cordura construction.

Best Med Pouch on the market
This med pouch fills a much needed roll in my loadout. I use this pouch as a pouch to hand off to someone else or to be used on me by someone else. I carry this at the 5 o'clock position. I can carry all things needed to stop the bleed or to allow the air to flow. It has elastic on inside of pouch, so one half holds all the bleeding items other side holds all the airway items. Easy to use and a GREAT piece of kit. And of course its high quality.......IT's ATS, they don't except less.
Mostly great
Well sized, I appreciate the Velcro backing with the clasp securing it. The molle attachment cords do not have any snap or way of affixing the material back to the pouch besides tucking in. Would appreciate that for additional security, but there’s always 550.

Very Impressive Med Pouch
I purchased this pouch as a secondary med/utility pouch, as I already had a dedicated med pouch made by another highly regarded company, owned by a former member of the special forces community. I really really like that pouch...I'm falling in love with this one already, after only having it for less than a week, and I'm already re-thinking my pouch set up. Top-notch construction and materials. Lots of good/needed internal organization, light weight, lots more room internally than I thought it would have...absolutely zero complaints. This pouch is built very well and I am fully confident it will last and withstand a beating. ATS customer service is among the absolute best in the business. If you need a high-quality, bomb-proof, medical and/or utility pouch, this is the one to get.
