ATS Slimline Chest Harness

The ATS Slimline Modular Chest Harness was designed to fit two parameters: we wanted to make a slim and trim, no excess chest harness, and we wanted a chest harness that interfaced with the ATS Aegis Plate Carrier. This rig does that!

The harness on the SLMCH is quick detachable by way of 1 inch ITW/Nexus side release buckles, which allows the SLMCH and the ATS Chest Harness Adapter Kit (ATS-0223) to "clip in" to the ATS Aegis plate carrier system. The back side of the SLMCH has covered hard side Velcro that keeps it stable against the front of the plate carrier. The adapter kit allows the SLMCH to be used with either of the optional cummerbunds or the 2 inch waist strap of the Aegis V1 plate carrier.

The harness measures about 21¼ inches wide by about 6 inches tall. At its thickest part, it measures about 1¾ inches deep. The center section features four individual 5.56 rifle magazine pockets with bungee pull tabs that have been covered in SureGrip non-slip material. There are three channels and three rows of PALS webbing on either wing for attaching any MOLLE compatible pouch such as a first aid- or radio pouch. There is a 4 inch wide and 6 inch tall, Velcro-closed flat pocket at the top of each wing that is large enough to accommodate a single magazine, meaning the rig can carry a basic load (four magazines in the main pockets, one each in the flat pockets on the left and right, and one in the primary weapon). The center section features an 11½ inch wide, six inch tall map pocket.

It is made in the ATS factory in Hopkinsville, KY and is lifetime warranted against defects in manufacturing and workmanship.
