Product Overview

The ATS War Belt offers a fresh perspective on the padded first line belt. Long gone are the days of an old LC-1 belt with a cobbled together padded backing. The ATS War Belt is a padded cover that is designed to be used with a belt system up to 2" in width. The inside of the War Belt is lined with a strip of 2" wide hard side (male) Velcro to interface with duty belt soft side (female) Velcro to keep the belt from shifting during hard use. It offers full length 1/4" high-density, closed cell foam padding for comfort and is lined with Dri-Lex moisture wicking material on the inside of the belt. There are 4 ITW/Nexus 1" Looplocs on the top edge of the belt for using the optional suspenders.

The outside cover of the War Belt is bar tacked with three stacked rows of PALS webbing for use with any MOLLE compatible pouches. The outer cover is opened along the bottom, allowing access to the duty belt within (belt not included). This allows the user to hang pouches, holsters, and drop-leg hangers that are not MOLLE compatible anywhere along the inner belt. The padded belt is sized to work with our ATS War Belt Liner Belt or Cobra Rigger's Belt (Large with Large, etc.). As with all our products the ATS War Belt is made in the USA and comes with a lifetime guarantee against defects in materials and workmanship.

The overall, end to end length measurements are Small: 30 inches, Med: 34 inches, Large: 38 ½ inches, Extra Large: 43 inches, XXL call in

Three helpful hints for the War Belt: first, a side release buckle inner belt is easier to get on and off. Second, if the belt you're going to use is lined with Velcro, get yourself some shims made of cardboard or magazine covers (the heavy glossy paper works great) and cover the Velcro inside until you get the belt where you want it. Then just pull out the shims, give the belt a smoothing push to seat the Velcro, and viola, perfect belt insert job. Third, before you put the belt in, make sure any hanger you want on it, like a Safariland UBL or other such part, is already on the belt before you Velcro that belt in.

    well built belt

I decided to get this belt based on the review of tatical rifleman on YouTube. The only complaint I have is the front suspender loops need to be moved forward so that the suspenders lay straight. As the are now the suspenders move to the sides. The construction is great. Thanks for a great product.

I ordered the wrong size War Belt, but Bridget in customer service quickly and cheerfully exchanged it for one that fits me. I am very pleased with it and ATS.

I’d wear it to hell and back.

Excellent material, rugged stitching, and a versatile design. This belt is comfortable when loaded, incredibly light weight, and sturdy. I am able to fit my backup knife under the war belt in between it and my class 1 harness with the knife handle protruding to the center and the buckle as well as the Class1 harness loop do not interfere. I have room to comfortably access all three with both hands. Yet I still can fit mags for my primary and secondary in a comfortable reach. You can not beat this quality at this price, hands down. If you were going to purchase a budget belt, DON’T. Shell out a few more bucks and get this top notch product instead. It’s a little more than some budget options but has the quality of the top belts I’ve handled at a fraction of their price. I do not work for nor am I endorsed by ATS, I just love this product that much. Do yourself a favor and buy it if you are in the market.

Quality belt especially given the price!

I just purchased this belt and it's looks and feels like some of the more expensive belts I've looked at. I haven't used this at the range yet but I don't see any issues at all. I also purchased the insert belt which makes this war belt more sturdy and matches in color. I would highly recommend this war belt!

    Fits Perfectly

I have a 28" waist and finding a battle belt that got that small was almost impossible. This was the only one I could find and I was so happy it was from ATS because I've ordered tons of stuff from them in the past. Excellent quality, and fit like a charm. Exactly what I needed.

wish i bought this belt years ago

For the price this battle belt is amazing. The padded lining on the interior is comfortable and supports my lower back. The battle belt also holds in place as you maneuver. The molle has strong stitching and holds all my pouches securely.

    Can't go wrong

Super comfy, holds all my stuff, quality material, exactly as advertised, can't ask for much more. Had to wait about a month but well worth it. I just use the old fashioned buckle on the war belt insert. They have a video to help you assemble it. I run a Safariland holster with a midride drop, works perfectly for my G19 with torch. Doesn't interfere with my PC at all.

Comfortably supports any weight you can hang on it. Is the perfect fit and feels good when you put it on, rides your hips well without rising up, perfect width. Velcro is strong.

    great buy

Posted by kyle on Jun 6th 2017

For the price it's amazing, thought it would have had a little more padding but it's still comfortable even with all my gear fully loaded. The MOLLE is well attached and tight which holds everything in place great.

    Aww Yeah, Son!

Heard about this company from Karl Erickson over at Tactical Rifleman. Needed some new kit that could handle weekly training, and at the price, couldn't resist trying it out. Ordered this belt and the adjustable insert, couldn't have been happier! Quality material and very good stitching, the webbing is to spec and even across the board. Mag pouches, knife, Safariland ALS, and IFAK all fit snugly and firm. The belt rides the hips very well and stays where you put it, it does not impede bending at the waist like some other belts, at least not with my specific biology. Very good choice for your base/survival level load, will be purchasing again in the future.
